Photography Lesson

My father, who was taken from me in the Six-Day War when I was just six, was a photographer of sorts. By trade, he was a dairy farmer running the Kibbutz barn, yet he owned a Zorki camera. In its ten-year lifespan, he captured more than 4,000 images. A photography lesson that lasted a lifetime.
From childhood on, I have learned about frames and I have learned about life. Today, I have the privilege of teaching them both. Since October 2023, I have been by the side of Maya Russo. Her father was killed on October 7th in Kfar Aza when she was 13 years old.
A lesson in photography. A lesson in life.
