The same passion I feel when photographing people extends to the culinary world. When I first began shooting food, I quickly realized that just as I do not stage people, I will not stage a dish. I came to understand that for me, food photography is a documentary journey. It is an attempt to capture the "food triangle"—the connection between the chef, the ingredients, and the diner. The story of creation is a passionate one, existing in the space between the chef’s hands and their eyes.
